Homemade Croutons

Unless you're having a dinner party, it's almost impossible to eat an entire fresh french loaf of bread in one sitting.  We all know it will be stale the next day, leaving more than half for the garbage.  Welp, not anymore!  Here's a way to use the rest of the bread all week long on your salads or soup.

Ingredients:
Day old French Bread (or any other fresh baked, stale bread)
Olive oil
Garlic Powder
Dried Parsley
Parmesan Cheese
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
step 1: Turn your oven to broil
step 2: Cut bread into bite size chunks
step 3: Toss bread onto a cookie sheet.  Drizzle olive oil, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese on top.  Toss everything together.
step 4: Place under the broiler to toast.  Keep an eye on these.  It will only take a few minutes to toast.  Broil times vary depending on how close your oven rack is to the flame.
step 4: Enjoy for up to a week!
